After listening to requests by our Ventures a Lecture about Sexually transmitted infections will be organised on the 5th february during our meeting, this lecture will be given by Marianne Massa, principal health promotion officer within the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Department.

Following some emails we are ready to announce that the 1st Hamrun Venture unit has just established a link with the 1st Moonee Ponds Venturer Unit – Australia, this link will serve both venture units to share ideas about their activities and at the same time have the opportunity to discuss different topics related to the Venture section.

This year our unit will again participate in the Jamboree On The Internet
( JOTI) .The following are ways by which you can comunicate with us;

* Your ADDRESS
* Your PHONE NUMBER
* Your SCHOOL
* Or ANYTHING else that is personal
TELL AN ADULT! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

4. If you have any questions about our code of behaviour, please
discuss them with an adult who is familiar with ALL of our posted
Netiquette guidelines.

Annual Camp 2009 Entrance, this gadget was created solely by the 1st Hamrun Venture unit, all mathematical calculations to calculate forces and their direction, together with the pioneering work were done by member of our unit with the help of their leaders.

The 1st Hamrun Venture Unit would like to announce that the new executive committee will consist of three members  members;

Executive meetings will be done on regular basis once in every two weeks or as deemed necessary.

After weeks of preparation and executive meetings the first Hamrun Venture Unit has created a list of activities that will surely prove to be fun and adventurous not only for our unit but also for other sections within our Scout Group. These include;

• Huge Entrance building using massive poles.
• Night Treasure Hunt
• Swimming
• BBQ
• Day at Splash and Fun park
• Camp fire stunts
